I am a master’s prepared Nurse Practitioner, having graduated from Queens University and an active member of the North American Menopause Society.
I have been providing health care for nearly 20 years and have worked in various settings and specialities. Much of my career has been spent in endocrinology, women’s health, cosmetic nursing, and primary care. I am a certified diabetes educator and have taken additional certifications in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, weight loss and cosmetic injections
I came to realize over the many years of practice that reactive, episodic healthcare is not where my heart is. While I believe this is very important and necessary in our Canadian healthcare system, I am a strong believer in preventative and proactive medicine, and this is where my passion lies. My goal is to help individuals modify risks factors for chronic illness, optimize hormone levels, and age gracefully.
When I am not working, I aim to travel, explore, and love all things outdoors. I couldn’t live without my morning cup of coffee, Kobo e-reader, mineral SPF and YETI water bottle. I look forward to helping you on your healthcare journey.
