About Alli:

Alli brings over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher to her work as a therapist, offering a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, learning styles, and the social-emotional world of young people. Throughout her career in education, she supported children and youth through academic challenges, peer dynamics, family stressors, and significant life transitions. These experiences shaped her passion for helping young people feel seen, understood, and capable.

Alli creates a warm, engaging, and safe space for her clients where they can express themselves and feel understood. She takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy, working alongside clients and caregivers to foster growth, resilience, and confidence. Alli integrates practical tools, creativity, and developmentally appropriate strategies, while also using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients build skills, gain clarity, and create meaningful change. She has experience supporting individuals living with anxiety, depression, burnout and ADHD and her approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and the belief that every person has strengths waiting to be discovered and nurtured.

Outside the therapy room, Alli enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, their two children, and their dog. She also practices yoga, is an accomplished triathlete and marathoner, and loves curling up with a good book.

Therapeutic Style:

Alli’s therapeutic style is warm, empathic, and deeply collaborative. Rooted in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, she integrates practical tools and strengths-based strategies while following her clients’ lead. Alli believes that clients are the experts in their own lives and works alongside them to identify goals, build insight, and develop meaningful change at a pace that feels right. She creates a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore challenges openly. Drawing on 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, Alli brings patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of human development to her work, helping clients translate new skills and perspectives into everyday life.

“Together, we’ll build on your strengths, use practical tools, and create meaningful change — at a pace that feels right for you.”
