The internal monologue is something that most species do not have.
We have the instinctual need to listen to all of our thoughts, even though they are not always true. These thoughts are a compilation of experiences, environments, assumptions, and sometimes societal expectations that evoke emotional responses. If our mind thinks there is a threat, our brain surges with hormones to support these thoughts, and thus, we can have feelings that are not true because we are listening to thoughts.
THOUGHTS are NOT facts.
Together on your journey, we will explore the foundations for these thoughts and provide ourselves with evidence for the facts, which are all steps to becoming more aligned with you. As we gather all the information, we learn about the possibilities of WHY you’re not feeling as comfortable with yourself.
The exciting part is that with this awareness, you can choose what you are willing to accept and what you want to change. With the WHY, you are better able to accept or change as YOU see fit, aligning with your values.
YOUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF
After nearly 20 years in the education sector, assisting various individuals, I wanted to make an intentional difference in mental health. Furthering my education allowed me to do this. I am passionate about helping individuals become their best selves in a safe, non-judgmental space. I would be privileged to assist you with your growth and would love to witness you flourish.
In my free time, I live in the sun while surrounded by nature whenever possible. I’ve also been seen around the office with the watering can between sessions, giving some love to our plants. You’ll see me with two cups most of the day, one with water and one with coffee, to stay hydrated.
